Tim McGraw Concert

I've been so lucky while living here in Calgary to see some amazing concerts and last nights concert was TIM MCGRAW with the opening acts The Lost Trailers and Lady Antebellum. I was a bit disappointed with my seat as the stage was so big I was further back than anticipated so I spent most of the night watching from behind, but i got over it pretty quick as it was great music and I really never expected to see Tim McGraw in concert so was excited to be there.
The Lost Trailers - you can see from this the position of my seat on the side of the stage. Lady Antebellum at the end of their set.
Tim Mcgraw at the Saddledome arena which holds approx 20,000 people and it was full!
He came across to my side of the stage a couple of times. PS Amy and Michael if you guys want to see the rest of the pictures I'll post them on facebook.

Water Shortage

When I came home from work on wednesday thankfully I showered straight away because when my roomate Tom came home 30 minutes later he had seen in the street a busted water main and we had no water! Within 3 hours we had emergency water supply trucks (you could take a bucket and fill it with water) in the street and so assumed we would be without water for some time. In the morning still no water and when I came home from work the water supply trucks where still in the street and so i assumed we still were without water but to my suprise we had water! Yeah! 1 day i guess was not so bad considering we had assumed it would be longer, I never thought about how much i used water until we had none!
PS meant to take a photo of the water trucks for the blog but forgot before they moved them away, sorry :)

Joining the Trend!

I have decided to join the blogging trend! I know I have slacked off in the emailing department and am hoping this will inspire me to update everyone back home a little more often than I have been! They may not always be big exciting posts (as my life though being lived in another country is not always that fascinating) but everyday bits and pieces that I've been up to. I love reading Amy's blog and now Tammy's as well so I'm hoping you can enjoy my updates aswell!
